Genre Day

Our aim is to create awareness of different genres and to allow students to be creative and experiment with ideas within frameworkof different genre.

Genres explored - fairy tales, horror, adventure, romance, western, myths, legend, biographies and fantasy.

The Yr 8 students had a very dramatic day, engaged in a series of activities which focus on Fairytales as a genre.The Yr 13 Performing Arts class began proceedings with some sketches form well known fairytales.Cavan and Daniel appearing in dresses was the highlight of this moment!!!

Students then had opportunities to perform their own interpretation of a classic fairytale.These were fabulous! There are definitely a few budding stars in our Yr 8 classes.

This was a great day enjoyed by staff and students!
